Formosa Topographic Map, Mk 1944 (臺灣多普地圖 Mk1944)
Transmission reproduced the second edition of L892 topographic map of the scale 1:25,000 published by the US Army Map Service from April 1951 to May 1952, which reprinted from the first edition or its revised version, and the only change is the projection method and the length of the unit, but not the data on the map. It also referred to the 1944 issue of the first edition of L892 topographic map of the scale 1:25,000, and reset the scale to 1:12,500 and reproduced the outline as the main body of the "Formosa Topographic Map, Mk1944”.
In addition, the editorial team added value to the " Formosa Topographic Map Mk1944" in the following ways and make the publishing more beneficial.
1) Processing and reinforcing the images of L892 second edition map.
2) The difference between the first and second editions of L892 is added as an addendum.
3) L092 was included by changing the scale to 1:12,500 and reproducing the outline.
4) Notations on the AMS L892 written in Japanese with both Chinese characters and kana system were checked and restored on the map.
